Mistry by Moonlight is an amazing book. I loved how the author made the plot, leading one thing to another… [and] admired how [she] added many supernatural beings which allowed the story to become more interesting and surprising.

[In Mistry by Moonlight], the author does a good job balancing Taylor's internal struggle with the outer conflict.

I truly enjoyed Mistry by Moonlight. It had an amazing plot, and I couldn't put the book down. It was an addictive read, as well as a life lesson.

In Knowing Nora, Nora Hadley gives a voice to the young girls who have fallen for the wrong man entirely.

[In Mistry by Moonlight], you can feel the turmoil as it gets too much for the main character and she can’t seem to find her way, no matter what she tries. Add in sparks of romance, and yearning for love, and it gives you a very good story.

Fans of the supernatural genre will love [Forever Ruby] and its twists and turns, as Ruby tries to figure out who is helping and hindering her on this journey of self-discovery.

[Forever Ruby] is a truly magnificent book… I love this book, I love the characters, and how many of them seem so mysterious, and I really like the relationship between Cole and Ruby; I found them loving and magnificent.

[Mistry by Moonlight is] pitched to the teenage market but a well written and great read even for older adults. I enjoyed the mystery and supernatural themes.

[Mistry by Moonlight is] not your typical young adult fantasy novel. It goes against the grain of what you’d expect from the genre, and leaves a satisfying feeling from a compelling and inventive story.

[Knowing Nora] tastefully explores some taboos, and the importance for young people to have a good set of individual values. The characters will tug at your heart strings and remind you to always have hope.

Forever Ruby is an intriguing walk through the supernatural, guided by our protagonist Ruby as she transitions between her ordinary life, and the extraordinary where ‘living’ finds a whole new meaning. The characters are both enjoyable, relatable and perfect for young adult readers.

Claire really shines with [South Coast Son]. She brought her characters to life, made you experience Sam's world, what he goes through, and makes you hold your breath as the story keeps going.

The characters in Claire Merchant’s books are so relatable. I feel like I know them, and they’re friends of mine.

I love her writing style, and always feel like I am taken away to South Coast every time I read her books. The detail and the time she puts into creating her characters is amazing, and I absolutely love reading about her characters, and love how all her books intertwine into each other some way or another.

Claire is undoubtedly one of the best writers I’ve come across. She manages to draw readers in, time, and time again, and causes them to forget reality and get lost in her world.

[South Coast Son is] Beautifully written!! Within a couple of pages you get immersed in Sam’s mind, and see the world through his eyes. Even after putting the book down I feel like I have taken a part of Sam with me.

I’ve been a big fan of Claire Merchant since her first book, Mistry by Moonlight! I’m so glad it became a trilogy. All of her books are a great read, and each one has a great story, which grips me to read more! I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to escape reality for a few hours to submerse themselves in the wonderful world of South Coast!
